KINESIOLOGY TAPING REDEFINED: An Evidence Based Approach to ‘Taping Movements, Not Muscles’
This course introduces the concept of movement therapy and enhancement via functional taping methods. It includes a review of the current literature supporting the theory of kinesiology taping for the purposes of pain mitigation, rehabilitation, edema/swelling and neurosensory input. The course is intended for healthcare providers with all levels of experience with taping. *All supplies needed for the course are provided – TAPE. Participants should present themselves with comfortable clothing to allow for full range of motion and application of tape.*
MAPPING MOVEMENT: Mobility and Stability Rehabilitation for Exceptional Patient Care
This course introduces the concept of movement assessments and enhancement via myofascial release techniques. It includes a review of the current literature supporting the theory of foam rollers and mobility balls for the purposes of pain mitigation, rehabilitation, activity preparation and recovery. *All supplies needed for the course are provided – ROLLERS AND MOBILITY BALLS. Participants should present themselves with comfortable clothing to allow for full range of motion and be prepared to MOVE.*
For DCs and CCPAs, these hands-on workshops are included with your CE conference registration for no additional cost!
For all others, the registration cost for this 8 hour workshop is $150 (includes lunch on both days).
